Internship in Natural Language Processing ­­/­­ Named Entity Recognition

During your internship, you will become part of an innovative and agile team and contribute your knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) with a focus on transformational models in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Named Entity Recognition (NER) in the context of industrial applications. You will take over, maintain and further develop an existing machine learning program for anonymizing internal departmental data. The program is based on a transformer model (NER) and is trained with a proprietary data generator. Furthermore, you will secure that our ML models are accessible as a service via pipelines in an Azure cloud environment. You will work closely with the team and advanced interfaces to ensure your issues are technically documented and information is shared quickly across the organization. Finally, you will work largely independently and actively. The exact areas of responsibility will be flexibly adapted to your experience, wishes, and abilities during your internship.
