PhD (m/f/d) as part of the junior research group "Circularity in animal husbandry systems"
The positions are part of the externally funded project -Circular cattle farming systems in Hesse to strengthen the regional value chains for milk and meat (ZirKUH)" and is to be filled on a fixed-term basis in accordance with § 2 WissZeitVG and § 72 HessHG with the opportunity for own academic qualification at the Chair of Organic Farming with focus on Sustainable Soil Use and the Chair for Landscape, Water and Biogeochemical Cycles, at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Environmental Management. The salary is in accordance with the collective labour agreement of the State of Hessen (E 13 TV-H). As long as the maximum permissible duration of a fixed-term contract is not exceeded, you will be employed till 31.01.2027. An extension of employment in case of project extension is possible. Your tasks at a glance Collaboration in the ZirKUH junior research group Data management Collection and status quo analysis of farm data on existing circular approaches Position 1: Farm analysis and life cycle assessment Position 2: Farm analysis of regional value performance (Regionalwert-Leistungsrechnung) The provision of academic services (including the processing of a research project financed by third party funds on a temporary basis) also serves the purpose of academic qualification.
