IHS is looking for a Student Assistant (f/m/d) – Part-Time (10-15h/week) within the research group Social Sustainable Transformation. The research group examines social and technological innovations and their role in transformation processes from social science and behavioral economics perspectives.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing quantitative data
- Literature searches and critical reviews of academic sources
- Support in preparing project reports, presentations, and publications
- Close collaboration with project and research management
Qualifications
- Ongoing studies in sociology, psychology, and economics or a related field (preferably at the end of the Bachelor's- or beginning of a Master's degree)
- Experience in conducting background research and literature reviews
- Experience with statistical software (SPSS, etc.) required
- Experience with online surveys (LimeSurvey)
- Accuracy at work, especially with data and texts
- Ability to present complex content in writing in German and English
- Very good knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- An efficient, independent and team-oriented way of working

- Based on the FWF salary scheme for student assistants, the salary amounts to € 1,034.70 gross per month for an exemplary 15-hour week, paid 14 times per year. The precise hours (between 10 and 15) are negotiable and can be adapted to your studies.
The position is to be filled on October 15, 2026. The initial contract period is 6 months, with the possibility of an extension (a maximum of two years in total).
