We develop payment products that help our merchants and partners to grow and scale their business and at the same time provide the consumers with flexible and easy financial services that they can rely on. We strive for making shopping guilt-free financially and environmentally.

To generate merchant interest, signing contracts and getting the first transaction working are just some of the milestones to reach for a merchant to be onboarded. And in this process is where we need you to help our merchants! As client due diligence and credit risk assessments are key to healthy and successful business relations you will ensure client records meet the standards of our Compliance & Know Your Customer frameworks.

In this wide-ranging role, you will be part of our experienced, passionate and growing Compliance & KYC team within Europe. The core responsibility of the team is to prevent financial losses from credit, regulatory and scheme compliance risks with an in-depth view of the credit risk, while contributing to the continuous growth of our product offering

Your role:

As a key support for our Compliance Experts, you’ll help drive efficiency and clarity across client onboarding, risk processes, and project work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and optimizing client onboarding by collecting and reviewing required documentation
  • Processing and filing legal and financial documents for new clients
  • Assisting in the KYC process by uploading records, conducting initial screenings (PEP, sanctions, UBO checks), and ensuring data quality
  • Coordinating with internal teams to clarify incomplete or inconsistent client records
  • Handling various administrative tasks, including contract management and system updates (CRM JIRA, ERP)
  • Wide ranging projects in collaboration with the Compliance Experts (reporting, record keeping, system implementation and support in monitoring client portfolio)

What you bring to the table:

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn, paired with a proactive, service-oriented mindset
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize effectively
  • A drive to improve processes and elevate the customer and team experience
  • Team-oriented, yet confident in working independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of a Nordic, German, orDutch language is an advantage
  • Familiarity with compliance, onboarding, or credit-related processes is appreciated
  • Creative mindset with an interest in leveraging AI tools (like Synthesia) to create impactful content
