Job Description

  • As part of your Master thesis, you will build an Agentic AI system within the Robert Bosch IT infrastructure.
  • You will connect this system to the Semiconductor Database (DB) and its DB description, as well as train the agent using it.
  • In addition, you will research how effectively the agent can translate natural language intent into deterministic database operations.
  • Furthermore, you will investigate the efficiency and accuracy of Agentic's autonomous reasoning loops compared to traditional human-in-the-loop data science workflows.
  • Last but not least, you will learn how the agent tests hypotheses against historical data by simulating interventions (e.g. in manufacturing processes), in order to make robust, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: of Python, Machine Learning, Agentic AI, SQL, Git and MCP; experience in software development, as well as databases
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are an independent individual who is open to criticism
  • Work Routine: your on-site presence is required
  • Languages: very good in English and good in German

Duration: 6 months
