Internship - C#/Python Test Automation Engineering for the Bosch Airbag Project

Job Description

• During your internship, you will build a C# test automation platform that integrates: Firmware APIs (UART command interface via TC375 AURIX microcontroller), Hardware Control (relay matrix stimuli, power control and sensor simulation), Test Execution (automated test runner, parallel execution and resource management), Result Management (capture, analysis, reporting and failure diagnostics) and Dashboards & Monitoring (WPF visualization of test health and execution status).
• You will design the test automation architecture, implement test runners and command protocols.
• In addition, you will manage hardware resources and prevent conflicts.
• Last but not least, you will handle error cases robustly and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Education: studies in the field of Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Embedded Systems or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge:
  • more than 2 years experience with C# development (.NET Framework or .NET Core) or Python
  • experience with test automation framework design or integrating with hardware/firmware APIs and control systems
  • skills with WPF or a similar UI framework
  • understanding of real-time systems and timing constraints
  • knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Personality and Working Practice: you are a motivated team player
• Enthusiasm: passion for testing; a willingness to learn and grow
• Languages: business fluent in English and basic German

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
