Aufgaben:
The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge empirical research in at least one of the following areas:
natural resources and environment,
climate change and policy,
digitalisation, AI and smart technologies,
policy impact analysis, and/or
production efficiency and markets.
leading to an internationally competitive PhD degree and internationally peer-reviewed publications.
Qualifikationen:
The applicants should possess:
an excellent or very-good university degree in economics, business studies, agricultural sciences with a focus in economics, or related disciplines
strong analytical and methodological skills with a focus on quantitative data analysis (e.g., econometrics, statistics, machine learning)
a high motivation and the ability to work independently with a strong team orientation
excellent spoken and written English and the will to acquire a certain working language of German.
