REFERENCE NUMBER 098/24 DM START DATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SALARY LEVEL EG 13 TV-L APPLICATION DEADLINE 27.10.2024 FAKULTY OF ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT POSTDOC / PHD CANDIDATE LASER SPECTROSCOPIC DETECTION OF SHORT-CHAIN HYDROCARBONS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS The position is initially limited until 30.09.2026 at 100 % of the standard work hours per week (currently 39,0 hrs/wk). A part-time arrangement is possible where operational requirements permit. The Heinrich Blasius Institute for Physical Technologies (HBI) is named after a pioneer of modern fluid dynamics who worked at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from 1912 to 1970 and contributed groundbreaking work to the understanding of flows at boundary layers. Research at the institute deals, among other things, with spectroscopic sensor technology for applications in climate research, medical diagnostics and industry. We offer the opportunity to become part of cutting-edge spectroscopic research.
