Trainee Procurement - International Graduate Program (f/m/d)
The E.ON Supply Chain is a group-wide functional organization with over 750 employees acting as «One Team», which manages the group-wide demand with a purchasing volume of over EUR8.5 billion. We are a strategic partner for our core business and contribute to E.ON's strategy. We deal with the entire range of procurement activities from strategic planning, supply chain analyses, market screening and supplier management to the operational processes, driving innovation and delivering best solutions for E.ON and our customers.
Across the two-year program, you'll
work in different functional placements mainly across Supply Chain departments (e.g. Strategic Procurement for all of our business areas, Transactional Procurement, Innovation, Supplier Relationship Management, Analytics, Governance, Performance, Sustainability) and each at least one cross-functional and international placement,
gain global insights into E.ON's business with a focus on topics like supplier negotiations, site visits, development of group-wide purchasing strategies, contributing to overarching projects (e.g. process development in warehouse logistics and IT interfaces) across Europe (e.g. Hamburg, Munich, Potsdam, Malmö, Den Bosch, Nottingham, Cluj, Milan).
Above average Master's degree in Business, Engineering, IT or a respective Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
Technical and IT affinity and ideally first experiences with big data, SAP or analytical tools
Interest in building supplier relationships, developing group-wide procurement strategies and process optimization
Fluent in English and ideally advanced German skills with willingness to improve
Ideally international experience staying abroad in the form of exchange semesters, internships, or volunteer work
Strong solution- and stakeholder-oriented thinking with excellent reasoning skills and structured way of thinking
Team-oriented mindset, with ability to build meaningful and strong relationships with relevant interfaces and strong networking skills
