MRI TUM - Logo 37 Fachrichtungen 1834 gegründet 6.600 Mitarbeitende 160 Berufe Im Herzen Münchens Research assistant (m/f/d) - Klinik und Poliklinik für Nuklearmedizin Full- or part-time | temporary contract (24 month) | Klinik und Poliklinik für Nuklearmedizin Your responsibilities: Establish imaging biomarkers in a preclinical setting based on magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography to enable a comprehensive characterization of tissue providing functional, physiological, metabolic, cellular and molecular information beyond anatomical structures- Implementation and optimization of deuterium, 1H MRSI and hyperpolarized 13C metabolic MRI for muscle research [18F]FDG-PET small animal imaging - Imaging protocol development, image processing, image analysis Lay out imaging strategies for early-stage detection, tumor phenotyping, and evaluation of response to therapy - Publication of scientific results Your profile: Excellent M.Sc. or equivalent degree in physics, chemistry, biomedical engineering or other related subjects Previous experience in biomedical imaging is an advantage Team spirit, capability of independent self-motivated study Very good English and communication skills are a prerequisite Experience in basic chemistry, good computer skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, MATLAB) are required We offer you: EGYM well pass, corporate benefits and discounts (e.g. Käfer), cafeteria, sports and cultural offers, company bike Free use of the library through a branch of the Munich City Library located in the building Working in the heart of Munich at Max-Weber-Platz with very good accessibility by public transport such as the subway, S-Bahn or tram Company pension plan through the Federal and State Pension Institute (VBL) Self-realization through a varied and technically demanding job with interdisciplinary cooperation between various departments of the MRI We look forward to your application!
