During your Master thesis, you will review related work and the state-of-the-art in lidar-based Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) based on neural reconstruction.
You will develop and integrate an evaluation pipeline to quantify the performance of candidate approaches against selected metrics to identify potential focus areas for improving SLAM accuracy.
Last but not least, you will research, design and integrate potential extensions to improve a promising state-of-the-art SLAM approach on selected metrics.
