Senior IT Consultant-Cloud Transformation AWS (m/f/x)
Supporting projects during all stages of development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing as well as go-live
Realisation of flexible AWS architectures in agile teams in compliance with clean code and good software crafting, suitable refactoring measures and continuous improvement of the build and test infrastructure
Development of best practices for testability, maintainability and scalability to support an open team culture
Active support in the knowledge transfer of best practices as well as mentoring of developer teams
Advice and active technical support of internal teams as well as clients with the assessment of technologies to be used
Participation in the Community, e.g. by actively taking part in conferences or meetups
Several years of experience in programming using Python, Java or Scala (full stack) and more than three years of experience as a software developer in the AWS cloud environment
Extensive experience with implementing cloud infrastructure solutions (especially IaaS with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform) as well as certifications in the field of AWS (e.g. AWS Developer, AWS Architect)
Extensive knowledge in the field of containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and experience with implementing microservices and security concepts in cloud-based applications
Practical knowledge of and experience with continuous integration and deployment (e.g. git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.), with using Linux/Unix-Shell as well as cloud deployment models at an enterprise level (especially public, private, hybrid)
Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in informatics and/or equivalent training
Good (B2) German and very good English skills
Moderate willingness to travel (occasional journeys to client meetings)
