You'll successfully work with our multinational, multidisciplinary Chemicals teams to develop novel models and support industry specific projects by designing and executing groundbreaking and differentiated research designs. Your skills in modelling, such as forecasting, cross-section and time-series econometrics, are enormously useful for that purpose. Also, you'll develop innovative data-driven approaches to support current and future research projects in collaboration with institutions like the World Economic Forum, Harvard and MIT, and leading multinational industry associations. With your ability to analyze, identify and solve challenges in data consolidation, you'll create valuable output for PowerBI visualization (incl. DAX programming). Last but not least, you'll represent Accenture in client-facing situations where a core part of the research solution lies in data science, and reliably manage research budgets and relationships with external partners.
Master degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business or similar, a Ph.D. and chemical know-how are a plus Considerable track record in research projects using econometric modeling and data science to investigate innovative research questions, subject matter expertise in the chemical industry would also be beneficial Excellent understanding of coding languages (Python) and modelling methodologies (forecasting, cross-section and time-series econometrics, causal inference, clustering, NLP and experiments design) Experience with Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Dataflow, functions), PowerBI (DAX), Alteryx, and skills in text analytics, sentiment analysis, data-wrangling, machine learning, and web-scraping Fluency in German and English flexible working hour models, remote working / home office the option of mentoring newcomers and leading projects our workplace culture that supports diversity & inclusion local and (inter)national sport programs/courses offered
